Better For Nothing - Debut EP

Better For Nothing - Debut EP

Better for nothing are a 4 piece band from Wakefield/Barnsley.

The E.P is 4 tracks long and introduces, in my opinion, a new genre of music! It's a mix of Indie/Scremo/Dance and it is brilliant!

The first track is titled Hostage and starts off with a slight Indie feel then kicks right into scream vocals unexpectedly but it works so well on so many levels. I think these lads are really onto something new and exciting and with the great writing ability they have there is no reason they can't make it in music!

Stranger Things Have Happened - This track starts again with an Indie feel with clean vocals and picks up into a rockier song and then just erupts into a screamo master piece before breaking down into a dance rhythm its crazy and hard to describe these lad's sound, but it is brilliant and you will have to check them out!

Nonagon - This track is mainly an instrumental interlude with screaming coming in at the end but it introduces the final song perfectly.

Dresden - This is my favourite song on the E.P kicking off heavier than the previous ones and keeping a fast paced rhythm with scream vocals from the start with great clean vocals. A dance rhythm is thrown in there too as part of the bands originality and shows that the lads know what they are doing and are capable of trying something new in a modern day generic scene!
