Holding Sand - On Sleepless Nights
Holding Sand are a five piece alternative hardcore rock band from France and have got in touch with us to listen to their EP!
I find this band extremely exciting and energetic in all of their songs!
The first track on the EP is titled The Future Belongs To Heartless Whores, and kicks off as a massive track full of perfect vocals and kick ass riffs which leaves you wanting to hear more.
Black Is The New Black is the next track on the EP and starts off a little more calmer and gradually picks up into a heavier rhythm and pace before calming back down for the opening vocals, after listening for a few moments vocals pick right back up into screams and it sounds so perfect!
On Sleepless Nights , the third track and also my favourite and has its own music video to accompany it too, really demonstrates how unique and special this band really are. Perfect music, lyrics, vocals everything! it flows well and is so catchy and will guarantee to have you wanting to listen to it on repeat for hours on end!
Shooting Stars , keeping consistent with their sound now the next track Shooting Stars kicks off heavy with screams and gang vocals before dipping into a catchy chorus accompanied by killer riffs.
What Eyes Betray, when you have listened to music as much as I have you can half expect the last song on an EP to be a calm acoustic kind of track, but oh no not with these guys! an EP full of energy to the very end and as the French may say it sounds absolutely magnifique !!!
I really do suggest checking Holding Sand out immediately they are the best thing to come out of France since wine!
