Cloud Control - Bliss Release

Cloud Control - Bliss Release LP

We have been sent the debut LP from Cloud Control, here is what we think.

A real nice up beat yet soothing sound greets you once you tune into the LP so for fans of acoustic music or nice chilling music this is definitely for you. The band give off a real feel good vibe with every track and is the perfect record to sit down to and relax. The musical talent is definitely bursting at the seams with beautifully written music accompanied by flawless vocals.

Making a series of appearances on the gigging front this year, including Glastonbury Festival, the band seem to be in the driving seat to push forward a new era and a new genre of music, in what is currently a metal/metalcore dominated music scene.

The Leisure Society - Into The Murky Water

We have been sent The Leisure Society's second album Into The Murky Water to have a listen to.

As always I won't go into every track, as a lot of you do not tend to enjoy reading up on them all. Instead I will look at the album as a whole, like any normal human being would do!

Opening in a very vibrant manner and sounding quite like nothing I have heard in a long time The Leisure Society seem to have created one of the most unique sounding albums yet at the same time one of the most beautifully and well written albums ever. The album is 10 tracks long and redefines modern music. A mixture of instruments and influences just surrounds you during listening and the bands time and effort really pays off.

I don't quite know what genre they would fall under, perhaps their own genre, but for now I shall call them a modern folk pop band and if you don't understand what that is then just listen for yourself. The Leisure Society

An honest sounding and highly exciting band indeed and fully worth checking out.
