Cyb3rnator - Kaoss City

Cyb3rnator - Kaoss City

Goole based 8-bit sensation Cyb3rnator sent us his EP Kaoss City to have a listen to, something a little different to our usual acts and bands Cyb3rnator merges dub-step and chip-tune together and plays them live via his Nintendo game system.

Track Listing:

1. N3ostatik

2. Kaoss City

3. D3struction

4. Stars

5. Misstake

6. Sonic Boom

As I said, Cyb3rnator is highly unique compared to a lot of bands and acts we work with recently appearing on BBC INTRODUCING HUMBERSIDE a couple of times shows just how far he is coming along with his project, along side playing many gigs this year.

The EP diversifies itself from anything I have heard within the same genre fusing highly energetic pulses of beats merged with a well produced vibe of hype anybody who finds themselves static whilst listening to this is most definitely doing it wrong.

Along with all the digital hyperactive sounds there has even been guest vocals from Sulu Babylon front man Phil Killingsworth during the track Kaoss City, which merges perfectly into the recorded sound as well as delivering an immense presence on a live stage.

You can't help but hear some of your childhood gaming memories in Cyb3rnator's tracks which is just another reason to go out and give it a listen for yourself, a musician that takes influence from video games and produces an EP full of fast paced, floor filling beats can't be wrong!

Riff Final Rating: R R R R
