Reverbed - Lies You Can Believe

ReVerbed - Lies You Can Believe

Doncaster based rock band ReVerbed sent us their album to check out and here is what we make of it!

The album is a steady thirteen tracks long, or short if you're a glass half full kind of person so instead of boring you with every track I will just say an overview of the album.

Kicking off the noise is the first track titled What Went Wrong. Starting with a soothing piano introduction and leading you into a false sense of security before exploding into a gritty rock track was a great way to open the album, the band demonstrating a great amount of depth with both male and female vocals.

The band have a really big sound going on and in contrast to other tracks on the album you can tell they have a wide variety of influences and have experimented with a lot of different sounds and techniques. Not one song sounding the same as the previous.

The guys have a real mature sound around them compared to other bands of their age displaying a sound that is dark, full of rock and at the same time packed with a big punch and a great amount of energy.

The talent of the band really shines through in the album and is most definitely one of the best albums I have heard this year. The contrast of both vocalists will allow the band to experiment a lot more in the future and I am really eagerly awaiting to hear more from them.

As always let us know what you think and if you agree or disagree, you can check out the band via this link: ReVerbed

Riff Final Rating : R R R R R *Ones To Watch*
