Sunday for the Suspect - Seeing is Believing
Track Listing
- Seeing is Believing
- Sex, Booze & Violence
- Your Turn to Burn
Sunday for the Suspect have a habit of keeping things simple & to them point, they don’t throw hundreds of guitar solos into their tracks as so many bands do now and they write what they want to write, finally a Pop-punk band on the Yorkshire circuit who write about things that actually matter to them and not what they think everyone wants to hear, this pleases me greatly (so much that I included a smiley face)
Their music and lyrics/vocals blend perfectly together and tell a story whilst keeping things light hearted & fun, everything about the EP seems to just work, from the album artwork to the order of the tracks, Seeing is Believing with it’s longer intro is a great way to kick the EP off and your turn to burn is the faster paced and more fun of the three tracks and a great way to end the EP and leave the listener wanting more from the band.
Seeing is believing is simple, its catchy, and overall it’s pop punk the way it’s meant to be, you can’t deny the similarities to bands like Blink 182, +44 but this EP shows the world that Sunday for the Suspect mean business and they’re here to stay.
I don’t know what else I can say about this EP other than I’ve listened to it honestly about 8 or 9 times on repeat and I still love it, this band have all the potential to break out of the Yorkshire music scene and make a name for themselves on a bigger scale, I have a feeling that this is just the start of things to come for these guys.
